Meet Parmesan Reggiano (also goes by Reggie or Mister Parmesan)! This lively and exuberantly mischievous kitten had a tough beginning, coming from a colony that was inundated with a disease called Panleukopenia. Kittens rarely survive this terrible disease, but Parmesan was a fighter, and after weeks of care, Parmesan pulled through and has become a loveable, cuddly, and incredibly busy little bee! He climbs, pounces and sprints around the house until he exhausts himself from the fun and passes out. This kitten plays hard! He plays well with other cats and is an avid wrestler. He has gotten along well with small children and is super friendly towards every person we bring into the house. This little guy melts the heart of every person he meets and is ready for an active and loving home.
Please note: Cats and kittens are social creatures and greatly benefit from being with other pets; therefore, kittens under the age of 6 months cannot be adopted as single pets.
This kitty has had vaccinations, deworming, flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, has been microchipped and altered (or will be microchipped and altered prior to adoption).
Adoption fee is 1/2 off for the second kitty adopted at same time. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax).
If you are interested in adopting a kitty(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / ADOPT tab / CAT Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet kitties you might be interested in. We are an all volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.
