Adopt Emma

Approx DOB: July 2019

Emma is the tiniest of her litter, being almost half the size of most of them. When she arrived in her foster home at the beginning of September, she was very shut down and scared of human contact. Over the last several weeks, it is almost as if a switch has flipped and she now loves to be petted, talked to and even kissed on the forehead. She has the sweetest little face and purr. Despite Emma’s tiny size, she has a big playful personality once she gets to know you. She would do best in a calmer home, possibly with older kids. She is very friendly and gentle with other cats. She depends on her siblings and her other “friends” from the colony she came from. They make her feel safe and she will snuggle as close as she can to any of them. Emma will need to be adopted into a loving home with one of them because of the bond she has to them. Her favorite things to do are play in the cat tree, watch cat nip bubbles and play with lasers.

Please note: Cats and kittens are social creatures and greatly benefit from being with other pets; therefore, kittens under the age of 6 months cannot be adopted as single pets.

This kitty has had vaccinations, deworming, flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, has been microchipped and altered (or will be microchipped and altered prior to adoption).

Adoption fee is 1/2 off for the second kitty adopted at same time. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax).

If you are interested in adopting a kitty(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / ADOPT tab / CAT Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.org. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet kitties you might be interested in. We are an all volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.
