ANOTHER
SUCCESSFUL DAY OUT FOR THE FURRY KIDS IN NEED On Saturday,
September 20, Furry Friends Network's fabulous sponsors
and supporters raced through the trails of Gifford
Pinchot State Park and raised more than $11,000 to
continue our life saving mission. Thanks to all for

Thank you for helping Furry Friends Network cross
the finish line at its 2008 Race for Their Lives. On
September 20, 2008, approximately 135 humans and their
50 canine companions came out to raise money and awareness
for the plight of homeless animals in our community.
Thanks to your generous support, Furry Friends Network
raised $13,862 towards the continuation of its life
saving mission. We never could have done it without
you, and want you to know how very truly grateful we
are for your generosity. In these uncertain economic
times, we realize donation dollars are getting smaller,
but sadly the number of stray animals and those being
surrendered by their families is at an all time high.
Rescues and shelters are overflowing and medical and
food expenses are escalating. Please know your help
came at a crucial time and the support is truly appreciated
by the volunteers of Furry Friends Network, and especially
by the animals whose lives you have saved. May God
bless you for giving so much and for the best gift
you could have given - the gift
of life!
Let's hope FFN's 5th Annual Strikes for Strays is as
big of a hit. Please mark your calendars for Sunday,
February 22, 2009! The event starts @ 12:00 p.m. with
lunch and 1:00 p.m. bowling at Trindle Inn Bowl, Mechanicsburg.
Lots of fun, food and prizes!! Tell your friends and
family this is a wonderful event in which to participate.
Not only will you have fun, but you will be bowling
to save the lives of helpless, homeless animals. The
planning committee is forming now, so if you would
like to be a part of the planning process, please email
