life saving mission. We hope to see all of FFN's past program participants
and their humans who are up for the challenge of paying it forward
and helping another furry friend find a loving home!

This event generates
a significant portion of FFN's annual operating funds.
Your support will
allow us
to continue
to help homeless
and unwanted animals like
SPIKE and LILY.
Lily and Spike have encountered difficult lives prior
to entering the FFN foster care program.
Lily, who was
adopted from
FFN as a kitten weighing
six pounds and returned to FFN a few years later,
weighing twenty-six pounds, also had a lump above her left
eye.
A biopsy of the lump
revealed cancerous cells.
Luckily it is a very curable cancer and Lily will
soon undergo surgery. Spike is a two-year old Pit Bull
Terrier
who lived
the majority of
his short life tied
to a doghouse with a logging chain. He was removed
from his home due to neglect and went to the shelter
in very
poor
health. Thanks
to our
dedicated volunteers,
FFN was able to find a foster home where Spike could
get the medical care he so desperately needed. Spike
was in
foster care for over
a year before he found
a home of his own.
FFN gear will
also be available for purchase.
Help us SPREAD THE WORD and hang our Race for Their
Lives 2008 poster in your office!
Race SPONSORS are also needed. By becoming a sponsor, you will:
- Help us save lives, one animal at a time.
- Help pay for medical expenses and daily needs,
such as food and preventative medications.
- Gain recognition on our event t-shirt and through
other advertising venues, while also receiving
complimentary individual or team
races entries.
- Most importantly, your sponsorship will make
a significant difference by helping FFN continue
to
be able to provide
care for animals
like Lily and Spike.
